Rockgrip Plaster Primer is a primer for new dry interior and exterior porous surfaces.
A good alkali resistant primer for porous surfaces
· Primes all types of interior and exterior masonry surfaces such as gypsum plaster, brick,
concrete, cement, and all types of composite boarding.

Solids Content By weight: Approx. 59%
By volume: Approx. 36%
Packaged Viscosity Viscosity at 23°C: Approx. 70 KU
Spreading Rate Approx. 9 to 12m² per litre depending on surface porosity,
profile and application method.
Mixing Stir until homogeneous with a flat paddle.
Application Surface conditions Surface Temperature between 10 - 35°C. Relative Humidity
between 10 - 85 % OR 2ºC above dew point minimum.
Application methods Brush or roller. Brush preferred to ensure penetration.
Thinner Thinning not recommended. Ready for use after thorough
Drying Time Touch dry 4 hour at 23ºC.
Recoating Time 18 hours at 23ºC (Drying times will be extended during cold,
wet or humid conditions.)
Cleaning of equipment After use, remove as much product as possible, and then
clean immediately with Dulux Brush Cleaner Degreaser or
Substrates Suitable for cement plaster, gypsum plaster, concrete, fibre
cement and all composition boarding.
Precautions: Do not apply during cold (below 10°C) or wet weather.
Not suitable as a primer for metal surfaces.
Not suitable for direct application to powdery or friable
surfaces whether previously painted or not.
Not designed to withstand natural weathering. It should be
recoated in 2 to 3 days. If left uncoated for extended periods,
sanding will be required before application of the topcoat.
